Choose by readability
- 0.1 mg: Choose 7-80g, 7-120g, or 7-200g for fine formulation, small-part, analytical, and micro-dosing work.
- 1 mg: Choose 7-300g or 7-600g when the load is larger and milligram readability is appropriate.
- 10 mg: Choose 7-6200g for the highest capacity in this lineup with a 0.01 g displayed increment.
- 0.1 g: Choose 7-1500g for general higher-capacity work that does not require milligram increments.
Standard balance or UpScale
The standard balance provides a backlit display, tare, external calibration support, weighing, counting, percentage modes, zero tracking, and RS-232C communication. Add UpScale when the process benefits from touchscreen operation, structured records, barcode workflows, printing, network communication, or PLC integration.
For systems that combine a third-party balance with Arlyn workflow and connectivity tools, use the UpScale integration path.
Set up the weighing station
Install the balance indoors on a stable, level surface, away from drafts, vibration, direct heat, and rapid temperature changes. Allow at least 30 minutes of warm-up before calibration and precision work. Use the smallest-capacity model that safely carries the complete load, including the sample, container, and fixture.
