Corrosion Resistant Scales for Weighing Cylinders and Drums of Corrosive Materials

These highly corrosion resistant scales are ideal for weighing cylinders and drums of corrosive materials. Cylinders of liquefied gas, such as chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen, chloride and carbon dioxide, and chemicals such as fluoride, sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, phosphate, alum, caustics and many others, may be weighed and monitored.

The very low profile allows easy loading of cylinders and drums. A unique epoxy coating over stainless steel construction provides both rugged use and excellent chemical resistance. Garnet particles embedded within the epoxy provide good abrasion resistance. Stainless steel load sensors will provide years of trouble free service.

The digital indicator features a large 5-digit graphics display for easy viewing, along with optional 4-20 ma output. Other features include excellent accuracy of 0.1% pushbutton tare and unit’s conversion an optional 8 level set point controller may be used for automatically filling drums, or simple batching functions.
