What hazardous environments is the ArlynGuard B certified for?
The scale is certified for Class I, II, III Division 1, Groups A–G, and Zone 0 environments. It can safely be used around flammable gases, solvents, combustible dusts, and other hazardous materials. Can I use this around [hydrogen, flour dust, propane, etc.]?
Yes. The ArlynGuard B supports Groups A–G, which includes most gases and dusts. For very specific materials, contact us and we’ll verify compatibility.
What’s the difference between battery and AC power options?
Battery models offer up to 96 hours of use but must be recharged in a safe area. Our new AC configuration allows for continuous use without battery swaps.
How do I integrate with a PLC or cloud system?
Optional Safe Area outputs include Modbus, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB data logging. We can pre-configure your system to connect directly to your existing infrastructure.
Can I use this scale in a washdown area?
The platform is stainless steel, but the overall unit does not carry a full IP66/IP68 rating. Please contact us to assess your specific environment.
How durable is this scale?
The ArlynGuard B is designed for industrial durability with no moving parts, heat-treated stainless steel load cells, and corrosion-resistant materials.
Can I count parts or track flow rate?
Yes. Part counting is available as an additional option. Flow rate tracking with alarms is available via the UpScale Display upgrade.
