Custom Scale Applications
Arlyn Scales works closely with OEM’s, manufacturers,
and end users to develop and build custom scale applications tailored to
their unique weighing solution needs. This includes the development of a
wide range of weighing and instrumentation technologies for
incorporation into a variety of specialty equipment.
Custom Load Cells and Weighing Sensors
Arlyn Scales has developed weighing sensors and rugged stainless steel
load cells ranging in capacity from 2 lbs. up to 20,000 lbs., and ultra-precision SAW sensors with capacities from
2 lbs. up to 200 lbs.
Our instrumentation options include simple voltage or current loop
devices, as well as full-featured, but inexpensive, digital indicators.
We can also provide sophisticated Linux-based color touch-screen
weighing solutions at surprisingly moderate costs. Communication choices
include RS-232, RS-485, USB, Ethernet and Wireless Ethernet.
Custom Industrial Weighing & Scale Solutions
Arlyn Scales has developed a variety of industry specific custom
weighing equipment and software for a variety of industrial
applications. Our technologies can help monitor and control the mixing
of multiple ingredients, or control valves, sensors and feeders. We even
have specialty software that can send your weighing data to
spreadsheets, databases and other PC applications. The following is a
short list of custom weighing applications we have developed:
- Automatic Liquid Dispensing
Accurate control by weight.
- Flow Rate Control
Uses ultra-precision sensors to measure small weight losses in tanks or
containers to quickly determine and control flow rates.
- Livestock Weighing and Sorting
Control gates and chutes that sort animals as well as collect data
to send to spreadsheets or other PC applications.
- Aggregate Weighing
Uses ultra-precision sensors for weighing accuracy that is twenty times
more accurate than regular load sensors.
- Liquified Gas Tank Monitoring
Used primarily within the semiconductor industry to monitor the
contents of gas tanks used for processing.
- Custom Weighing Kits
Available for incorporating into any device, including shrink wrappers,
laundry carts, liquid tanks, mixers, and many others.
- Inventory Control - Bin Weighing
Monitor the number of parts, or the weight, for multiple bins. This
data is collected over the internet, and can be monitored by any web
browser. Low level alarms can be noted, and e-mailed to multiple
locations.
